Canoeing Antietam Creek September 5, 2009

by Darren on September 6, 2009

We just finished a short Antietam Creek canoe trip from the Devil’s Backbone Park to the Potomac River. The water level was about two inches below the recommended 2.6 feet but we didn’t have any major problems with hanging up. The twelve mile trip took approximately 5 hours. Check out some images of our trip, including images of the famous Burnside’s Bridge in the Antietam National Battlefield.
