Creating Leads Through Local Internet Marketing

by Darren on January 26, 2008

It’s often overlooked by marketers, and many business owners aren’t even aware that it exists, but Internet marketing on the local level can be an affordable option for driving sales and leads to your business. The major search engines Google, Yahoo and MSN offer local sponsored search options on a pay per click basis which can be very effective for businesses offering products or services throughout a large metro area like Philadelphia.

I ran a quick keyword demand report using the Google AdWords Keyword Tool and came up with some interesting results based on the keyword “philadelphia restaurant”. The report ranks search volume on a scale of -2 to 2. As you can see the average Google AdWords search volume for the keywords is low but the overall volume could result in additional advertising at a very low monthly cost.
