I just completed another wilderness canoe trip in the St. Regis Canoe Area. With four days of canoeing, camping and around twelve miles of canoe portaging, it was definitely my most physically demanding trip to date. The photo of me with The Towel was taken at our third day base camp on St. Regis Pond. If I look a little grimy and bedraggled in the photo it’s because I was, and so was The Towel. The Towel didn’t mind though as it was The Towels first wilderness canoe trip to the Adirondacks and he enjoyed it very much.
