In case you don’t know what the Ambassador program is, or was, it’s a program similar to Google’s AdWords Certification, but it never really held much status in the search engine marketing industry. And although many say that the AdWords certification really doesn’t hold status either, it has been suggested that the Ambassador program might only be available to the big agency players in the future, such as the Google Reseller program.
Anyway, this is what Yahoo has to say…
“The Yahoo! Ambassador program was specifically developed to help marketers drive sales leads to their clients. For the last four years, Yahoo! has made an effort to enhance the program to provide the greatest added value to our users. After a thorough evaluation of the program, we have decided to discontinue the program.”
